Child Safety Standards Policy

This policy applies to wuara (package name: com.wuaramedia.dating), a dating application operated by Wuara Media.

Introduction

Wuara Media operates wuara with a strict zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). The safety of minors is a non-negotiable priority. wuara is intended exclusively for adults aged 18 and older, and any form of child sexual abuse, exploitation, or endangerment is absolutely prohibited on our platform. We are committed to detecting, removing, and reporting CSAE and CSAM, and to cooperating fully with law enforcement and child protection authorities.

Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited on wuara:

  • The creation, distribution, storage, solicitation, or facilitation of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any format whatsoever, including images, video, drawings, animations, AI-generated or computer-generated content, and text.
  • Grooming, sextortion, sexual solicitation of minors, and the trafficking of minors, as well as any attempt to engage in such behavior.
  • Accounts created, owned, or operated by individuals under 18 years of age.
  • Any content, communication, or activity that violates applicable child protection laws or that sexualizes, endangers, or exploits a minor in any way.

Enforcement Actions

When CSAE or CSAM is identified on wuara, Wuara Media takes immediate and decisive action:

  • Accounts involved in CSAE are permanently banned with no possibility of reinstatement.
  • The offending content is removed from the platform as quickly as possible.
  • Incidents are reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the relevant regional law enforcement or child protection authority.
  • Relevant evidence is preserved and provided to law enforcement in accordance with applicable law.

In-App Reporting Mechanism

Users can block any other user directly from the menu of every conversation within the app, which immediately stops all contact with that user. To report suspected CSAE, CSAM, or any conduct that endangers a minor, users can write to [email protected] from the app's help section or from this page, including the name of the profile involved. All reports are reviewed by Wuara Media's Trust & Safety team, which investigates and takes appropriate enforcement action. Reports concerning child safety are prioritized and handled with urgency.

Compliance

Wuara Media is committed to full compliance with all applicable child safety laws and regulations in the jurisdictions where wuara operates. We align our practices with the best practices of the Tech Coalition for combating online Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSEA), and we continually review and improve our policies, detection capabilities, and response procedures to protect minors.
